How to Update GAOMON Tablet's Firmware (Windows)

Why do we need to update the GAOMON Tablet's Firmware (Windows)?

1. To provide better tablet performance and improve your user experience.

2. Some devices are currently only compatible with Windows or Mac OS; however, after updating the firmware, they can work with Android.

Are all GAOMON Tablet models applicable for the firmware update to be compatible with Android?

Applicable GAOMON Devices (Android 11):

Pen Tablets: S620/S630/S830/M10K(2018)/M10KPRO/M106KPRO/M1220/M1230
Pen Displays: PD1220/PD1320/PD1610/PD1620/PD1621

Note: There is no need to upgrade PD1161 and PD1561 as they don't work with Android.

How to update the GAOMON Tablet Firmware?

Step 1. Download Firmware Update Tool

Go to the GAOMON official website > Downloads> firmware > Download Windows Version. Here is the download link.

Step 2. Install the Firmware Tool

① Double-click the downloaded installation package.

② Click "Install now" on the pop-up page.

③ A "Gaomon Firmware" software will appear on the desktop, and then double-click this application

Step 3. Check the Device Connection

Open the Firmware tool after the installation is successful. If the "No device detected" page is shown, please confirm that your device is connected correctly.

PS: If your model is excluded from the list of Model Supported, then your device can't be detected.

Step 4. Get Firmware Update

Once the device is connected, the software will automatically identify the product model, its current firmware version, and check for available firmware updates.

If no updates are available, the software page will prompt "No updates available".
If an update is available, the "Update" button will appear on the software page.

Step 5. Update Firmware

Click the "Update" button and follow the instructions on the page to complete the firmware update.

Note:

Some models require you to press the express key to reconnect the device.
Once the device is reconnected correctly, the software will automatically code in the latest firmware for your device.
(After the firmware is written, you need to re-plug the USB cable to use it.)
