Precautions When Connecting the PD1320 & PD1220 to a Computer Using Only a USB‑C Cable

If you plan to connect your GAOMON PD1320 or PD1220 to your computer with a USB‑C cable, make sure the following requirements are met to ensure proper display and pen functionality.

1. Use a Full‑Featured USB‑C to USB‑C Cable
   • The cable must support USB 3.1 Gen 1 and DisplayPort 1.2 (DP Alt Mode).
   • A standard charging‑only USB‑C cable will not work. Full‑featured cables are sold separately.
2. Confirm Your Computer’s USB‑C Port Capabilities
   • Your computer’s USB‑C port must also support data transfer + video output (DP Alt Mode).
   • Some USB‑C ports support only charging or data transfer, which will prevent the tablet from displaying properly.
     If you are unsure whether your computer’s USB‑C port supports video output, please check the device specifications or contact the manufacturer for confirmation.
